For the past five years I have been the speaker coach for TEDxRuakura, where I have found interesting people, helped them to clarify their message, put it into an engaging and compelling narrative, and perform it on stage in front of a live audience.
But like all TED and TEDx talks, it is the effective performance that works for video that makes the most impact. Having your Signature Talk available on the the internet to watch and share can be a huge asset to your business.
My Programs
Currently I offer a half day Compelling Communications Workshop that takes you through the process we complete with our TEDxRuakura speakers over the period of 3-4 months. In this workshop you will get the roadmap for what you need to do to create a compelling Signature Talk., and a workbook full of tools to help you gain clarity and put together your narrative. This workshop is available live online (using Zoom) or live in person.
The Signature Talk Workshop is a two day workshop for a smaller group who do some pre-work and are committed to coming out of the workshop with a comprehensive draft of their Signature Talk. This also includes a workbook, as well as a one-on-one follow up via Zoom to give feedback on the final talk.
The Signature Talk Group Coaching Program is a six week coaching program that takes you step by step through an adaptation of the coaching program I developed for TEDxRuakura speakers. This program is delivered exclusively through Zoom online, and includes two one-hour sessions each week with significant amount of work required by participants. At the end of the six week program the participants will have their Signature Talk completed and will be in the process of memorisation, and ready to perform.
In addition to the programs above I give An Introduction to Pitching presentation, as well as presentations on stage performance, and sessions for brainstorming ideas for a talk or presentation. I am open to developing a custom presentation or workshop for groups.
