If you struggle to find the time to get in front of the right prospects and then have trouble clearly explaining your product or service then you are not alone.
One way to radically improve your productivity in marketing your product is to develop your own Signature Talk. This is a talk that you learn so well you can give it at the drop of a hat, but it is structured in such a way to be engaging to an audience, educate them on the problem, and your solution, build your credibility as the authority in this issue, and pre-dispose them to do business with you.
This way you are attracting the customers that you want to contact you for further information.
Extend Your Reach by Putting Your Talk Online
With a clear and engaging message strategically placed online, you can generate leads for your business 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There are several ways to do this:
- Filming you deliver your talk on stage
- Delivering your message direct to camera
- Delivering your message through a recorded webinar
- Deliver your message in an audio format online
- Deliver your message in an interview format either on a podcast or online video show
However you deliver this message online the goal is to make it as viral as possible. This means that the people who receive your message are more likely to share it. There are several keys to make this happen:
- Be entertaining for everyone (wide audience)
- Be targeted for a specific audience
- Have at least one great hook that people will remember and want to share
- Have a persuasive message that appeals both emotionally and logically
- Have a call to action for both your target audience and your non-target audience.
I Can Help
For the past five years I have been the speaker coach for TEDx Ruakura, where I have found interesting people, helped them to clarify their message, put it into an engaging and compelling narrative, and perform it on stage in front of a live audience.
But like all TED and TEDx talks, it is the effective performance that works for video that makes the most impact. Having your Signature Talk available on the the internet to watch and share can be a huge asset to your business.
This is where my experience delivering training in webinars, delivering training direct to camera, and my experience in filmmaking can be of help.
My Programs
Compelling Communications Workshop
Is a half day workshop that takes participants through the process we complete with our TEDxRuakura speakers over the period of 3-4 months.
In this workshop you will get the roadmap for what you need to do to create a compelling Signature Talk, and a workbook full of tools to help you gain clarity and put together your narrative. This workshop is available live online (using Zoom) or live in person.
The Signature Talk Workshop
Is a two day workshop for a smaller group who do some pre-work and are committed to coming out of the workshop with a comprehensive draft of their Signature Talk.
This also includes a workbook, as well as a one-on-one follow up via Zoom to give feedback on, and polish to, the final talk.
The Signature Talk Group Coaching Program
Comprises two 1-hour sessions a week over six weeks. This coaching program takes participants step by step through an adaptation of the coaching program I developed for TEDxRuakura speakers.
This program is delivered exclusively through Zoom online, and includes two one-hour sessions each week with significant amount of work required by participants. At the end of the six week program the participants will have their Signature Talk completed and will be in the process of memorisation, and ready to perform.
Introduction to Pitching
Is a two hour workshop focused on entrepreneurs who are looking to pitch to investors or prospects. We look at the common mistakes made in pitching as well as the absolute necessities that you must not leave out if your pitch is to be successful.
In addition to the programs above I give on stage performance, delivering to camera, using Zoom or webinars effectively as well as sessions for brainstorming ideas for a talk or presentation.
 I can develop custom presentations or workshops for groups.
